Order Processing

Orders are generally processed within 2 to 4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after you receive your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Shipping to Puerto Rico

We ship to Puerto Rico with several service options. The delivery times listed below are estimates and do not include order processing time.

  • Economy: 6 to 9 business days. Flat rate of $7.75.
  • Standard: 4 to 5 business days. Flat rate of $9.50.
  • FedEx Priority: rate is calculated at checkout based on order weight and delivery address.

Shipping to the United States (Continental)

For shipments to the continental United States, we offer flat rate Economy options and additional carrier calculated services. Delivery times listed are estimates and do not include processing time.

Economy 7 to 20 Business Days

  • Orders from $0.00 to $11.99: flat rate of $7.75.
  • Orders from $12.00 to $69.99: flat rate of $9.75.
  • Orders from $70.00 to $160.00: flat rate of $13.15.

Carrier Calculated Services

  • FedEx International Economy (United States): rate is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. A handling fee of $2.00 per order applies.
  • USPS Priority Mail: rate is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. A handling fee of $1.50 per order applies.

International Shipping

We offer selected international shipping via FedEx. Shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on order weight and delivery address. A handling fee of $2.00 per order applies.

International delivery times will vary depending on the destination country and service selected. Estimated delivery dates will be displayed at checkout when available.

Your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, and other fees (including VAT) once the shipment reaches the destination country. Jibarito de la Cajita is not responsible for these charges. They are the responsibility of the customer.

Shipping Addresses and Returned Packages

Orders are shipped to the shipping address provided by the customer at checkout. We do not edit or modify shipping addresses after the order is placed. Please ensure that your address is correct, as the label will be printed exactly as it is received.

  • If a package is returned or deemed undeliverable due to an error in the shipping address entered, the customer will be responsible for the cost of the return label.
  • If you choose to cancel the order instead of reshipping, a refund will be issued for the value of the products minus the original shipping charges.
  • If the delivery issue is due to an error by Jibarito de la Cajita, we will resend your order at no additional cost.

Once a package has shipped, Jibarito de la Cajita cannot modify the shipping address.

Important: FedEx services do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. Please make sure to provide a valid physical address at checkout to avoid delays or returned shipments.

How to Check the Status of Your Order

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification with your tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become available in the carrier system.

If you have not received your order within the estimated delivery window, please contact us at info@jibaritodelacajita.com with your full name and order number and we will look into it for you.
