Return Window

We offer a 30-day return policy. This means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Item Condition Requirements

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is also required.

How to Start a Return

To start a return, please contact us at info@jibaritodelacajita.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Customer Self-Service Returns

During our 30-day return window, you can also submit a self-service return directly through your account. If you prefer to initiate your return on your own, simply click here to log in and submit your request.

The cost of the return shipping label must be covered by the customer when submitting a return request. The price of the label will vary based on the weight and characteristics of your order. If the return is due to an error by Jibarito de la Cajita, we will cover the cost. We do not charge any restocking fees.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Some of our products include internal batteries. The natural depletion of a battery is not considered a manufacturing defect. All batteries experience normal wear over time and use, and their lifespan may vary depending on handling and environmental conditions.

For this reason, returns due to depleted batteries or reduced battery performance will not be accepted, as this is expected behavior for this type of item.

Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned:

  • Digital products.
  • Gift cards.
  • Custom or special-order items where this is clearly indicated on the product page.

Unless a product is explicitly marked as “final sale” on its product page or as part of a specific promotion, we are not currently treating items as final sale by default.

Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges at this time. The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted and processed, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email that we have received your returned item and whether your refund has been approved or rejected.

If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Please remember it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Shipped and In-Transit Orders

Orders that have already shipped and are currently in transit are not eligible for an immediate refund. If you have changed your mind or no longer want the product, you may refuse delivery when the carrier attempts to deliver your package. Once the package is returned to us and received, we will process a refund to your original payment method, minus any applicable shipping costs.

Delayed Packages

We understand that sometimes packages may take longer to arrive than expected due to unforeseen circumstances. A delayed package does not necessarily mean it is lost.

  • Shipments are generally not considered “lost” by carriers until 30 days have passed from the shipment date.
  • Please make sure the shipping address provided at checkout is accurate to minimize delivery issues and track your package using the tracking information provided.
  • If 30 days have passed since your order was shipped and you still have not received it, please contact us.
