Rules for the "My Boricua Stamp" Contest | Jibarito

THIS IS NOT A SWEEPSTAKES. CREATIVITY CONTEST VALID WITH THE PURCHASE OF A PARTICIPATING BORINQUEÑA STAMP.

OFFICIAL RULES “MI ESTAMPA BORINQUEÑA” CONTEST

By participating in the “Mi Estampa Borinqueña” Contest (“Contest”), each participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules.

1. Sponsor

The Contest is sponsored solely by Stride Group LLC (“Sponsor”).

2. Contest Period

The Contest begins on July 13, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. AST and ends on August 13, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. AST (“Contest Period”).

All entries must be received within the Contest Period to be considered eligible.

3. Eligibility

The Contest is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and Puerto Rico, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Employees, contractors, representatives, officers, directors, partners, affiliates, or immediate family members of Stride Group LLC, its agencies, suppliers, or anyone directly involved with the administration of the Contest are not eligible.

Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

4. How to Enter

To participate, individuals must:

Have previously purchased or purchase during the Contest Period a participating Estampa Borinqueña.
Complete, decorate, paint, or personalize their Estampa Borinqueña.
Take a clear photo of their finished creation.
Upload the photo and complete the required information solely through the official platform available at jibaritodelacajita.com during the Contest Period.
In case of having multiple models, the participant may submit one entry per day. (One every 24 hours).

Individuals who purchased an Estampa Borinqueña before the start of the Contest may also participate, provided they submit their photo during the Contest Period via jibaritodelacajita.com and comply with all requirements set forth in these Official Rules.

Only entries officially submitted on jibaritodelacajita.com will be considered valid. Entries sent or posted via social media, private messages, email, stories, comments, posts, or any other method on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or other social or digital platforms will not be accepted or considered.

The purchase of an Estampa Borinqueña does not guarantee winning. Winners will be selected according to the evaluation processes and criteria set forth in these Official Rules.

The Sponsor may require proof of purchase, proof of identity, residency, age, or any other reasonable documentation to verify participant eligibility.

5. Authorship and Originality of the Creation

By submitting an entry, the participant declares and guarantees that the creation shown in the photo was made by them and is an original creation.

It will be assumed that the person submitting the entry is the author and creator of the Estampa Borinqueña presented. The participating individual must be the same person who made the submitted creation.

If it is determined that the creation was not made by the participant, was made entirely or partially by another person, was submitted without authorization, belongs to another person, or infringes third-party rights, the entry will be disqualified.

The participant is responsible for ensuring that the photo and submitted creation do not violate copyrights, image rights, privacy rights, trademarks, or other third-party rights.

6. Requirements for Submitted Content

The submitted photo must show a finished Estampa Borinqueña or one in a sufficiently complete state to be evaluated.

Submitted content must not include:

Offensive, vulgar, discriminatory, violent, or inappropriate material.
Brands, logos, characters, music, art, or copyrighted material belonging to third parties, unless the participant has authorization.
Visible personal information of minors.
Images that violate privacy rights, image rights, or intellectual property of third parties.
Content that is not consistent with the brand's or Contest's values.

The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that, in its sole discretion, does not comply with these Official Rules.

7. Winner Selection

This Contest will be evaluated based on merit, creativity, and presentation. Winners will not be selected randomly.

All eligible entries received during the Contest Period will be reviewed by the Sponsor to confirm compliance with the requirements set forth in these Official Rules. Once an eligible entry is approved, the Sponsor may publish it in an official Contest gallery available at jibaritodelacajita.com and/or on any other official platform designated by the Sponsor, where the public can vote for their favorite entries.

Public voting will be used solely to select the ten (10) finalist entries that will proceed to the evaluation stage by the panel designated by the Sponsor. The ten (10) eligible entries that receive the most valid votes during the voting period will proceed to final evaluation.

Public votes alone will not determine the Contest winners. An entry with more votes will not necessarily be selected as a winner. Winners will be selected by an evaluation panel designated by the Sponsor from the ten (10) finalist entries, using the following criteria:

Creativity and originality: 0–40 points
Visual presentation and finish: 0–30 points
Use of color, details, and composition: 0–20 points
Puerto Rican spirit / cultural connection: 0–10 points

The maximum total score will be 100 points.

Only votes received through the official voting mechanism provided by the Sponsor will be considered valid. "Likes," comments, shares, reactions, private messages, stories, or social media posts will not count as official votes.

The allowed voting frequency, including whether a person may vote once or more times per day or during the Contest duration, will be determined by the Sponsor and communicated on the official voting platform. The Sponsor reserves the right to establish, modify, or limit the voting mechanism to protect the integrity of the Contest.

The Sponsor reserves the right to review, invalidate, or exclude votes that, in its sole discretion, appear fraudulent, duplicated, automated, purchased, manipulated, bot-generated, or contrary to the spirit of the Contest.

Once the ten (10) finalist entries are selected, the evaluation panel will choose the First Place, Second Place, and Third Place according to the evaluation criteria described above.

In case of a tie in the final score awarded by the evaluation panel, the tie-breaker will be determined by the entry that received the most valid public votes during the Contest. If a tie still persists, the evaluation panel designated by the Sponsor will make the final decision based on the criteria of creativity, visual presentation, use of color, details, composition, and cultural connection.

Winners will be selected on August 14, 2026, after the Contest Period and the corresponding evaluation process have concluded.

Winners will be announced and published on Jibarito de la Cajita’s official platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, jibaritodelacajita.com, and/or any other official brand platform. Additionally, winners will be notified via email using the information provided at the time of entry.

Winner selection will be subject to verification of eligibility, compliance with these Official Rules, and confirmation by the Sponsor. The decisions of the evaluation panel will be final and binding on all matters relating to the Contest.

8. Prizes

Three (3) prizes will be awarded, as described below:

First Place

The First Place winner will receive:

An Estampa Borinqueña: El Colmado.
An experience participating in the creative process of accessories for a future Estampa Borinqueña.

The participation experience in the creative process may include meetings, conversations, exchange of ideas, concept review, or any other creative process determined by the Sponsor. Such experience does not guarantee that the winner's ideas, suggestions, or contributions will be used, produced, marketed, or incorporated into a final product. The Sponsor will retain all rights to any product, accessory, concept, design, idea, or material developed as part of such experience.

Second Place

The Second Place winner will receive:

An Estampa Borinqueña: La Puerta de San Juan.
A Jibarito de la Cajita gift card valued at $100.

Third Place

The Third Place winner will receive:

An Estampa Borinqueña: Faro Los Morillos.
A Jibarito de la Cajita gift card valued at $50.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-cash redeemable, and cannot be substituted, except at the Sponsor's discretion for a prize of equal or greater value if the announced prize is unavailable.

Gift cards will be subject to the terms, conditions, restrictions, and expiration date, if any, set by the Sponsor.

Any applicable federal, state, local, or territorial taxes resulting from receiving a prize will be the sole responsibility of the winner.

9. Winner Notification

The winner will be selected on August 7, 2026, and notified by email using the information provided at the time of entry. The Sponsor may also announce the winner on Jibarito de la Cajita’s official platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and jibaritodelacajita.com.

The winner must respond within a period of 72 hours from the initial notification. If they do not respond within that period, if they do not comply with these Official Rules, or if they cannot accept the prize, the Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

The Sponsor may require verification of identity, residency, age, proof of purchase, and/or any reasonably necessary document to confirm participant eligibility.

10. Use of Photos, Name, and Likeness

By participating, the participant authorizes the Sponsor to use, publish, reproduce, share, edit, and display the submitted photo, their name, city/state of residence, likeness, voice, testimony, content, and/or entry for promotional, advertising, commercial, and marketing purposes related to the Contest, the brand, and its products, in any medium, including social media, website, email marketing, advertisements, printed materials, and points of sale, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

The participant declares that they possess all necessary rights and permissions for the submitted photo and content.

11. Intellectual Property

The participant retains ownership of their photo and original creation. However, by participating, they grant the Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable, and sublicensable license to use the submitted content in connection with the Contest, the brand, and related promotional activities.

The participant does not acquire any rights to trademarks, logos, designs, characters, products, or intellectual property belonging to Stride Group LLC or its brands.

12. Social Media

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Meta, or any other social platform.

Although the participant may share their creation on social media, such a post will not count as an official entry. To be considered valid, the entry must be submitted solely through jibaritodelacajita.com.

13. Privacy

Personal information collected will be used to administer the Contest, contact participants, verify eligibility, deliver prizes, and conduct activities related to the promotion.

By participating, the participant agrees to the use of their information in accordance with the Sponsor's privacy policy, available at jibaritodelacajita.com.

14. Disqualification

The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

Violates these Official Rules.
Submits false, incomplete, or misleading information.
Submits a creation that was not made by the participant themselves.
Manipulates or attempts to manipulate the entry process.
Uses unauthorized content or content that infringes third-party rights.
Submits their entry through an unauthorized method.
Acts fraudulently, abusively, or contrary to the spirit of the Contest.

15. Cancellation or Modification

The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, extend, or modify the Contest if any situation occurs that affects the administration, security, integrity, or proper functioning of the Contest, including technical errors, fraud, force majeure, natural disasters, platform failures, or any circumstance beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control.

16. Liability

By participating, the participant releases the Sponsor, its affiliates, employees, representatives, agencies, suppliers, and related platforms from any claim, damage, loss, expense, or liability arising directly or indirectly from their participation in the Contest, the use of their content, the acceptance or use of any prize, or any technical or human error related to the Contest.
